The Goal

Mallard Point is a family-run Single Estate Vineyard and Distillery located in Essendine, Rutland, forever linked with the record-breaking Mallard Steam Train. Our aim was not just to build an e-commerce site, but to create a clean, visually compelling platform that would showcase the brand's premium spirits and wines. The site needed to be user-friendly, easy to navigate, and seamlessly integrated with an e-commerce solution.

Clean, modern design

Using Webflow, we crafted a site that is as elegant and refined as the products it showcases. The design is clean and minimalist, allowing the brand's beautiful photo-real CGI images of the bottles to take center stage. Every element, from the color palette to the layout, was carefully chosen to reflect the brand's identity. We wanted to incorporate some fun microinterations accross the site to delight visitors. A ticket stub on the homepage slides out to reveal further inforamtion about the Vinyards namesake. The Mallard Point logo also animates each time you visit a page - delightful.

Powered by Shopify

To ensure a seamless shopping experience, the Webflow design was converted into a Shopify theme. This allowed us to combine the robust e-commerce capabilities of Shopify with the bespoke design, resulting in a fully functional online store.

The Result

The Mallard Point website is more than just a storefront; it's a testament to the brand's commitment to quality and sustainability. The homepage welcomes visitors with a captivating narrative about the brand, while the product pages provide detailed information about each offering.

Sustainability explained

The standout feature of the website is its focus on sustainability. The site features a dedicated section about the brand's commitment to sustainability, including their innovative sustainable returns process complete with stop motion animation. This not only reinforces the brand's ethos but also engages customers in a meaningful way.

The Mallard Point website is a prime example of how clean design and strategic use of technology can create an e-commerce platform that is visually stunning, easy to navigate, and provides a seamless shopping experience.
